SalaryWongDoody North America has an immediate opening for a fractional Public Relations Director with experience with creative & digital innovation agencies. As our PR Director, you'll work closely with the Growth team to develop and execute impactful PR campaigns that generate positive buzz, build brand awareness, and drive new business. This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20-25 hours per week, with flexibility in scheduling and can be remote.
What you'll do:
Under the direction of EVP Head of North America Growth:
- Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies aligned with agency goals and objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, influencers, industry leaders, and other key stakeholders, particularly those aligned with our pillars and target industries.
- Craft compelling press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials that capture attention and tell our story effectively.
- Secure positive media coverage for our agency and its clients across various channels.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and identify new opportunities to generate positive publicity.
- Act as a trusted advisor to agency leadership, providing strategic guidance on communication matters.
- Collaborate with the Growth team to maximize the exposure and impact of our presence at selected events.
What you've got:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in a PR leadership role within an agency or corporate environment.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing impactful PR campaigns.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to network effectively, existing media relationships a strong plus.
- Deep understanding of the advertising industry and the current media landscape.
- Proficiency in PR software and analytics tools.
- A passion for creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.

The perks:
We’ll pay you to come work here, because we’re generous like that. Our salary range for this fractional role (50% - 20 hours per week) is $47,000 to $55,000.
