- The DPCS is responsible for the management of the agency’s clinical operations, personnel performance, and delivery of quality clinical services.
- S/he assures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as accreditation standards and assists the Executive Director (ED) in achieving budget goals.
- The DPCS assumes the ED responsibilities in the absence of the ED.
Experience/Training/Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferred, in nursing or other health related field.
- Registered nurse with current licensure to practice nursing in the state.
- Minimum three years’ experience, within the last five years, in a home health agency with at least one year of which was in a supervisory or administrative role.
- Current CPR certification.
- Prior use of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) preferred.
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured and in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
- Knowledge of accepted professional standards and practices, Medicare Conditions of Participation, and federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrates excellent observation and nursing judgment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Requires sufficient endurance to perform tasks over long periods of work hours.
- Ability to travel to all business location.
