Form of workJob Summary Under supervision of the Creative Arts and Recreation Therapy Manager, the Art Therapy Intern facilitates therapeutic groups, provides individual Art Therapy and Reiki at bedside, maintains an independent caseload, documents in EMR, supports caregivers, conducts legacy-building for end-of-life, hosts special events, and coordinates volunteers.

Minimum Qualifications
- Must be actively attending an approved or accredited graduate program by the American Art Therapy Association.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) or UC Davis Health CPR.
- Interpersonal skills to interact with a broad spectrum of staff.
- Organized individual who manages workload independently
- Analytical skills and basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of various art materials and the expressive Art Therapy continuum.

Direct PATIENT CARE and clinical training, providing integrative therapies to adult patients throughout the medical center.

- This position is a critical position and subject to a background check and drug screen. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background investigation including criminal history, identity checks and drug screen.
