Job Description:
The Director establishes, plans, and administers the overall goals, policies, and operations for the FHCW information and data systems. The Director is responsible for all aspects of information technology and telecommunications, including hardware and software, internal and external network management, and telecommunications technology. The Director is responsible for both the operating and capital budget, including long-range life cycle budgeting for information technology (both hardware and software) and telecommunications and plays an integral role in the strategic decision making team of FHCW. This position requires hands on technical work along with management oversight. This position also requires on-call support.
Educational Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field; Masters degree in related field preferred.
Experience Required:
Familiar with a variety of information technology concepts and systems such as telecommunications, security and application development, best practices such as ITIL, and solid fundamentals on developing and managing policy and procedures. Management experience including supervision, program management, and financial management preferred.
Professional Licensure/Special Skills and Certification Required:
Specialized skill and/or certification in Microsoft Windows, networking, and electronic medical records required. Experience with electronic health records; NextGen preferred.
