Job Description
This position provides leadership and management to the Student Support Center. Including but not limited to student parent center, food pantry, administrative specialist, counselors, resource and referral specialist, volunteers, interns, and outreach coordinator. Provides direct leadership and management of the student complaint and student conduct processes. Provide strategic planning, assessment, scheduling, budgeting, and continuous quality improvement. The work in this position is highly collaborative working with academic affairs and student affairs departments.
As part of the College's student affairs leadership team the director works to collaboratively plan, guide, and implement the Strategic Enrollment Management plan and strategic priorities of the college. This position will work with community organizations, non-for-profits, and other social service entities to understand, collaborate and address basic needs of college students.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience or, a combination of years of experience and bachelor's degree or higher in Higher Education, Administration, Leadership or related field.
  • Knowledge of regulations and laws pertaining to nondiscrimination, sexual or general harassment and sexual violence.
  • Strong leadership experience including the ability to manage, provide guidance and/or specialized technical expertise for a team doing evaluation, development, and design.
  • Ability to conceptualize, evaluate and implement new programming and programming enhancements.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain working relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion working with diverse populations, student success initiatives and/or basic needs.
  • Demonstrates an ongoing understanding of cultural fluency. Incorporates culturally responsive practices, and actively engages in anti-racism professional development learning opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Current knowledge of laws, trends, and practices related to student complaint and conduct investigations.

Salary Information: $32.16 - $46.56 per hour / $67,150 - $97,217 annual
