Amida is currently looking for a Director of State and Local Services to join our team in Washington DC.

What You Will Do:

• P&L responsibility including annual budget development and monthly income statement analysis.
• Provide employees with the authority, accountability, training, coaching, and resources to achieve their full potential and successfully drive the company's performance.
• Drives operational excellence, efficiency and collaboration by allocating resources to the most productive uses.
• Partners closely with leaders in Business Development, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources and Information Technology to achieve operating plan.
• Partners with Finance to ensure achievement of financial goals through forecasting, budgeting, strategic planning, reporting and monitoring financial performance.
• Monitors appropriate staffing levels and reports on utilization and deployment of human resources.
• Leads and supports staff in areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising and rewarding performance and retention. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.
• Manage the statement of work and develop and administer budgets, schedules, and performance standards to maintain and optimize the cost of delivery and service.
• Relationship building and establishing trust with the customer and the cross functional teams.
• Direct others on priority.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years management experience.
• Experience managing State and Local contracts in a customer-focused service firm.
• Requires knowledge of the business, industry, and market, as well as sales strategies, account/program management, service delivery, and financial analysis.
• Communications: Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues.
• Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
• A sound appreciation of evolving technologies and industry trends.
• A proven track record in managing State and Local contracts and relationship management skills.
