Accountant Job Purpose:
The accountant manages financial records, prepares statements, and analyzes data to support decision-making. They ensure compliance and may assist with budgeting and taxes. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are crucial.
Accountant Essential Job Duties:

• Input data into accounting systems accurately.
• Record journal entries promptly.
• Conduct account reconciliations regularly.
• Process transactional accounting entries efficiently.
• Validate data accuracy against system reports.
• Ensure compliance with controls and processes.
• Verify supporting documentation for all entries.
• Collaborate with operations to resolve issues.
• Address concerns with vendors or customers as needed.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Manage incoming mail and perform scanning duties as required.

Accountant Skills and Qualifications:

• ?College degree in accounting or supplemental work experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Pay for this position is $25.00/hour, full-time Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 430pm with occasional long hours and weekend work.

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
