Located in East Meadow, Nassau University Medical Center is the only public safety net hospital and community health care center in Nassau County. We are a Level I Trauma Center and a 530-bed teaching hospital.

We are seeking a well-qualified Director ofService Excellence & Patient Satisfaction.

In this position you will:

• Direct the organizations Service Excellence and Patient Satisfaction Program by implementing a high-impact customer service training program.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop goals and objectives for Service Excellence.
• Plan and direct all aspects of the healthcare systems Service Excellence policies and procedures.
• Work jointly with senior leaders to implement principles and processes that will make an impact on how patients are treated and what type of Service experience they will receive.
• Assure that the program follows all standards and regulations set forth by all applicable regulatory authorities and agencies.

We require:

• Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor’s degree plus seven years of Public Relations, Business Administration and/or Healthcare Administration experience, two of which must have been in public relations and/or community relations;

OR

• A Master’s Degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, and/or Healthcare Administration plus six years of public administration experience, one of which must have been in public relations and/or community relations.

The salary for this job is $125,000/year and includes medical, dental, life insurance, NYS Pension Plan and other excellent benefits.

You must have lived in Nassau County, NY for one year prior to hire. This job is 100% onsite.
