Who You Are:

The Director of Security & Transportation will oversee both Security & Transportation. Responsible for the day to day operations of the security and transportation departments. Responsibilities include staff recruitment, training, supervision, scheduling and the safety needs of the community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain policies to ensure physical safety and security of Westminster’s facilities, property and people.
• Supervises administration and operation of organizations security equipment, including but not limited to, surveillance equipment and key security assignment system. Authorize access to facilities and ensure that access is controlled.
• Coordinate investigation of theft, physical harm, intrusion, etc.
• Develop training, certification, evaluation and coaching or counseling of all security staff.
• Perform security audits to and report on areas of improvement.
• Maintain appropriate records pertaining to the department budget. Monitors and controls cost expenditures.
• Work to assist in Security work flows to insure resident and community needs are being met, including filling in for or assisting security or concierge when needed.
• Ensure all Westminster shuttles and vehicles are maintained properly, and in good condition.
• Supervise, train, and assist transportation personnel, working in conjunction with the Transportation Supervisor.
• Ensure the transportation schedule is up to date and meets the needs of residents.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor degree in criminal justice, psychology or other suitable field of study or 4 years equivalent experience is preferred.
• 5 years’ experience in security; and 3 or more years of management experience is preferred.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
