This position is the key position to deliver the quota for the territory. This involves managing and directing the Manufacturer’s Representatives in the territory as well as developing existing customers and finding new customers in the territory. This individual should provide strategy for the direction of resources in the territory and to find new opportunities in the territory. Growth of the territory is a major aspect of this position and will be measured monthly for the territory as well as the manufacturer’s representatives.
Primary Duties:
- Develop Business Plan to Achieve sales quota for the territory.
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales quota for the territory.
- Find and Support Customers to place and process orders for Company products.
- Keep up-to-date Forecast and Evaluation unit fulfillment and follow up.
- Select, train and manage Manufacturer’s Representatives
- Daily interaction with accounts to close deals
- Support trade shows in the territory
- Learn and give presentations on the Company Products
- Support sales campaigns by directing resources of Manufacturing Representatives and other Company resources including individual efforts and outbound proactive sales calls.
- Develop Quotes, Price and Availability request, support Literature request, and provide Credit follow-up,
- Assist inside sales manager with inventory analysis.
- Assist with administrative activities such as order entry, shipping and mailings for marketing programs.
- Evaluate customer needs and determine solutions to those needs with the assistance of other Company personnel.
- Assist and educate customers in obtaining information from our web site.
- Assist customers in implementing Companyproducts in their organizations.
- Identify new product opportunities and communicate those opportunities to product management.
- Prepare & submit timely expense reports.
