Job Description
This is a 30+ bed, not-for-profit hospital. This healthcare system joined TMC Health recently and has been a trusted healthcare provider since. This hospital was among the winners of its inaugural Quality Awards, and it also received the Emergency Management Innovation award.
This position reports to the CEO or designated administrator.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, coordinate, and implement Quality and Risk Management plans
- Ensure employee health and safety compliance
- Create a patient-centered care environment
- Manage departmental budgets and operations
- Collaborate with various hospital departments for quality care and services
- Oversee Performance Improvement and Continuous Quality Improvement programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Health Services Administration (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of hospital direct care nursing experience
- Additional minimum of 2 years in Quality Management
- Minimum of 2 years of employee health or occupational health experience preferred
- RN license in the State of Arizona, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Certifications required
- Emergency preparedness training preferred
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred
- Current/unrestricted RN license
- BLS/ACLS/PALS/NIH Stroke Certifications (AHA)
- Completion of NIMS Courses
