Position Summary:
This is a professional position providing director level oversite of Quality improvement activities encompassing three Divisions: Outpatient Services designed to provide trauma-informed Behavioral Health Services, Families First designed specifically for families, including families involved in child welfare, and Housing First designed to assist families experiencing housing instability. Directions for Living (DFL) provides the highest quality of services to clients throughout the community by adhering to rigorous standards of care. DFL is also a CARF accredited organization, consistently achieving 3 years of accreditation, the highest level of accreditation offered by CARF.
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's degree in social work or closely related degree preferred. Bachelor's degree in a related field with 2-5 years staff leadership and supervision experience required. Certified Professional in Health Care Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with funding source representatives, staff and the general public. Excellent organizational, time management and leadership skills required. Advanced computer literacy, Cost Center budget comprehension and strong Clinical knowledge with 5-10 years of progressive healthcare senior management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of healthcare operations and the flow of protected health information throughout the agency required. Understanding of State and Federal laws pertaining to client privacy rights and protections also required. Understanding of Risk Management Laws and Regulations with extensive knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and other healthcare regulations including licensure and survey requirements required.
- Must have extensive knowledge of the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accreditation process. Strong data analysis, communication, analytical, critical thinking and leadership skills required. Extensive knowledge of implementing agency wide use of an electronic medical or health records.
- Child welfare knowledge is required.
