Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Program Management Office (PMO), aligning program and project objectives with the organization's goals and priorities.
- Program Governance: Establish and maintain governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure effective oversight and control of all programs and projects.
- Business Operating System: Define, implement, and continuously improve the business operating system (BOS) for the company, encompassing processes, procedures, and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and scalability across all functions and departments.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks proactively, implementing effective risk management strategies to minimize potential impacts on program timelines and objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, department heads, and project sponsors, to ensure alignment and support for program initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to a team of Program managers and project management professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Performance Management: Define and track program performance metrics, OKRs, and dashboards to monitor progress, identify trends, and drive accountability for results.
- Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives related to project management practices, methodologies, and tools, ensuring effective adoption and implementation across the organization.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO, including process optimization, standardization of project management practices, and adoption of industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, project management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in Program Management, project management, or PMO leadership roles, preferably in a complex organizational environment.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required or ability to obtain certification in the first year of employment.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus at all levels of the organization.
- Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PMBOK) and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Arena).
- Experience implementing and managing PMO governance frameworks, processes, and tools to support effective project delivery.
- Proven track record of driving organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives related to project management practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and develop practical solutions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
Logistics
- This is a regular, full-time position.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States to qualify for consideration
- Employees must work on site in Santa Clara, CA
Compensation/Pay Transparency

- The range for this position is 210K - 240K annually
