Director Of Operations

The Director of Operations focuses on operational management relative to a specific book of business, its processes and process management. This position’s purpose is customer service, problem solving, which will enhance delivery of services and day-to-day client management.

Annual Salary: $90,000.00 (Must be retired NYPD to be considered)

Essential and General Job Responsibilities:

· Full charge responsibility for a security guarding book of business within the company’s portfolio.

· This is not a remote position and requires being in the field.

· Responsibilities include approvals of all hires and terminations in coordination with Human Resources.

· Leadership role, i.e., company planning and immediate problem resolution through best practices.

· Oversight of several operational staff and functions in support of this positions’ responsibilities.

· Direct security officer communications and training.

· Attendance at company job start-ups and walk throughs.

· Close customer contact which requires weekly client visits.

· Reporting all actions taken into the company informational database.

· Work harmoniously with other Directors and upper management.

· Attend weekly Director’s meetings.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

· We are seeking a retired NYPD officer who was in a manager role within the police department.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

· Experience within the guarding space preferred.

· Operational leadership experience a must.

Competencies:

· Strong management and project follow through.

· Creative problem-solving skills, combined with sound judgment and ability to think out of the box.

· Strong ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.

· Organized with an attention to detail.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to take initiative, work independently and within a team structure.

· High energy leader needed.
