Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to join our team. As the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability. This is a senior leadership position that requires strong strategic planning, operational management, and business development skills.
Duties:
- Develop and implement operational strategies and initiatives to achieve company goals and objectives
- Manage day-to-day operations, including supply chain, logistics,
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement
- Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion through market analysis and competitive research
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency
- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control measures to optimize resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
Experience:
- Proven experience in operations management or a similar leadership role
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors
- Demonstrated ability to drive business development initiatives and achieve revenue targets
- Solid skills with Drayage and intermodal needs.
