General Job Description Summary:
Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Director of Operations, Facilities is responsible for all warehouse operations within North America.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the warehouse team regarding all strategic and tactical aspects of the business.
- Meet and significantly exceed all company-directed KPI’s around Safety, Quality, Cost, and Speed to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Understand market direction and trends to set priorities in collaboration with key partners, using benchmarking across industry and internal standards.
- Guide the Finance team regarding the warehouse budgets and forecasts. Identify key areas of opportunities or risks.
- Design and lead warehouse optimization projects and implement value-added services.
- Identify and evaluate new warehouse opportunities by providing in-depth analysis, cost modeling, and financial impacts.
- Support external and internal clients with detailed cost and performance analysis for warehouse solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is required. MBA is strongly preferred.
- 10+ years’ experience in Logistics, Warehousing, or Supply Chain.
- 3-5 years experience in managing gig workers/Independent Contractors
- 3-5 years experience in final-mile delivery
- LEAN Operational Excellence background with a demonstrated ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously
- Must have experience making data-based decisions at pace with quantifiable results
- A robust approach to problem-solving with a continuous improvement mindset
- Experience with e-commerce and small parcel shipping is a plus
- Proven experience in data mining, analysis, and reporting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required. Knowledge of SQL, Access, and other modeling tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
- Strong hands-on leader, multiplier, and simplifier
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Hours:
Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This position may require weekend, night, and holiday hours according to the needs of the company.
Travel:
This position requires 20-25% of travel time.

The compensation section below lists the targeted base salary range for this role. Actual salary may be above or below this range based on location, skills, and relevant experience. In addition, this position may include additional compensation in the form of bonuses, equity, or commissions.
