Director Of Operations

We are a small entrepreneurial office, we operate a bath renovations business and a couple of retail gift shops. We are seeking a leader to help strengthen our business and teams.

This is a part time position and a small business environment.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to oversee our company's daily operations and drive strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, exceptional strategic planning skills, and a proven track record in operations management. As the Director of Operations, you will play a critical role in managing our business operations, optimizing processes, and driving business growth.

Duties:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve company goals and objectives
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and identify areas for improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute business development strategies
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive work environment
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in operations management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role with a focus on operations management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement initiatives
- Business development experience is highly desirable
