Job Title: Director Of Nursing (DON)

$40/HR--40HRS=$1600/Week*8HR Shift* (8am-4:30pm) *7 Week Contract

The Director of Nursing is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the nursing department within a healthcare facility. The job description typically includes the following responsibilities and qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Providing leadership and direction to nursing staff, including nurses, nurse managers, and other personnel.
• Developing and implementing nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care.

• Managing the nursing budget and resources effectively.

• Recruiting, training, and evaluating nursing staff.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license.
• Proven experience in nursing leadership or management, often requiring several years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Advanced degree in nursing or healthcare administration may be preferred for some positions.
