The Director of Medical Affairs for Selution is focused on building and managing a world class Medical Affairs organization within our Selution SLR team and is based in US. This role is critical to build and drive our publication and podium strategy and drive tactical execution. Partnership with our clinical and commercial teams is critical. This role will report to the Senior VP of Clinical and Regulatory.
Responsibilities:
- Building and growing customer and investigator relationships that drive credibility in our product and organization.
- Build a clear Selution SLR message with our Marketing team and consistently drive that message with all our customers, investigators and internal teammates.
- Have extensive knowledge of clinical and preclinical data in our space and build materials that allow this to be shared and referenced with customers, investigators and across the organization. This includes training internal teammates and providing updates, as necessary, on changes and developments.
- Build strong and positive relationships with Marketing and Commercial and develop roles and responsibilities for efficient and effective business operations.
- Prepare and thoroughly manage a rolling two-year publication and podium strategy. As new information becomes available, propose relevant modifications.
- Establish and manage a process for the distribution of published materials on Selution SLR or in the relevant space.
- Collaborate internally on the development of presentations and publications. Assist investigators or customers on the preparation and delivery of presentations.
- Review IDE and post market study data with the clinical team to identify post market messaging/claims opportunities.
- Up to 50% travel required.
- Minimum of Bachelors’ Degree, required.
- 10+ years working in Medical Affairs in a relevant medical device/combination product space
- 3-5 years of people management experience including people development
- Successful in a fast-paced team environment, as a leader, and ensures teams conduct activities with a sense of urgency
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate internally and externally with investigators and customers
- Ability to travel as needed for conference and symposium support and physician engagement
Pay / Compensation
The expected pre-tax pay rate for this position is $185,000 - $264,750
Actual pay may fluctuate outside of the range depending on skills, education, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
