Corporate Talent Resources LLC is searching for a FT Permanent On-Site Director of Case Management in Lawton, OK.
Must have to be Considered:
- Oklahoma Registered Nurse State License or Multi-State Compact License
- BSN
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Case Management, discharge, and/or utilization review in an acute setting
- Minimum 3 years of Director Level experience at an acute care facility
- Certification in Case Management or Utilization Review a PLUS!
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee the Facility’s Case Management team to ensure adherence to standards of practice and regulatory requirements concerning care management and utilization review.
- Cultivate effective collaboration among Case Management Departments, Medical Staff, corporate and facility leaders to promote an integrated approach to care delivery aligned with the hospital's objectives.
- Demonstrate proficiency in navigating the health system's decision-making processes and organizational frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with providers and internal and external physician advisors for utilization review and management activities.
- Coordinate all Utilization Management (UM) Committee activities to ensure compliance with meeting schedules and documentation of outcomes.
- Work in tandem with Revenue Cycle teams and contribute to task force meetings addressing medical necessity audits and denials.
- Participate in appeals processes and collaborate with vendors to ensure timely and efficient appeals resolution.
- Analyze length of stay and readmissions data, collaborating with Operations team members, Corporate Case Management Directors, and other facility leaders to achieve established goals.
- Introduce evidence-based practices aimed at enhancing Case Management and transition processes.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to review pertinent Federal and State regulatory requirements, emerging internal and external trends, and provide general training for staff members.
