Job Description: The Director of Finance and Operations plays a critical role in the success and growth of Firefly Home Care LLC. Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

1. Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company's short-term and long-term goals.
2. Prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
3. Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports to senior leadership and owners.
4. Implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
5. Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risk to optimize profitability.
6. Collaborate with external auditors, tax professionals, and financial institutions.

Operations Management:

1. Work closely with the Agency Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, including client care, logistics, and administrative functions.
2. Streamline processes and workflows to improve operational efficiency and quality of care.
3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
4. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement among staff.
5. Lead the development and implementation of key projects and technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Strategic Leadership:

1. Collaborate with the executive team to set strategic goals and objectives.
2. Provide financial and operational insights to support decision-making.
3. Identify growth opportunities and potential risks, and develop strategies to address them.
4. Lead and mentor a high-performing Finance and Operations team, fostering professional development and teamwork.
5. Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the company's competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in financial leadership roles, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Exceptional financial analysis and reporting skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems.

This position is full time and is based in Middlebury, Indiana. Up to 30% travel may be required to manage and support key service areas and expansion initiatives.
