Position
The Director of Finance and Human Resources is a member of the Arkansas Hospitality Association senior leadership team and reports directly to the CEO. The purpose of the position is to manage all accounting, financial And Human resource activities for the Arkansas Hospitality Association.
Primary Responsibilities
Finance
- Financial transaction processing
- Financial reporting
- Fiscal budgeting
- Management of all tax related matters of the organization
- Administration of all insurance policy matters of the organization
- Management of the development and implementation of accounting procedures to ensure complete and accurate financial reporting
- Other duties as assigned
Human Resources
- Responsible for all areas of human resource administration
- Personnel management
- Payroll processing
- Benefits administration
- New hire administration
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Previous professional experience in accounting or bookkeeping role
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in QuickBooks
- A CPA license and prior non-profit experience are not necessary, but add significant value to this position
