About the Role: Givsly is a rapidly growing values-driven tech startup looking for a Director of Event Marketing to fuel the success of our experience line of business and drive content development. This role will report to the Head of Experience Partnerships, and span all marketing, platform, and experience initiatives.This person must be comfortable in a fast paced environment, a quick learner, self-motivator, and capable of owning their own line of Events and content projects. The ideal candidate can juggle multiple responsibilities at once, move quickly through projects, be agile and work independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities:
● Independently oversee and manage a portfolio of Givsly Experiences, ensuring seamless execution, with regular updates provided to the Head of Experiences.
● Collaborate seamlessly with the Experiences team, extending support across customer experiences, the Givsly Platform, and nonprofit partnerships to foster holistic growth and success.
● Pioneer innovative ideas for the organization, propelling us to new heights and fostering continuous growth.
● Develop a comprehensive content marketing strategy that seamlessly aligns with all events, ensuring continuous promotion of partners, events, and the company.
● Immerse yourself in Givsly’s brand to craft compelling content that actively supports our initiatives and overarching company goals.
● Lead thought leadership conversations and spearhead content creation for all experiences.
● Identify speaking opportunities for company thought leaders and proactively submit for relevant awards.
● Cultivate and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, sponsors, and partners.
● Stay abreast of the latest industry best practices and proactively review and enhance company messaging.
● Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, ensuring the delivery of best-in-class client service for all Givsly customers, users, and nonprofits.
Qualifications:
● Proven experience (5+ Years) in Event Marketing with a track record of successful event planning and execution.
● Strategic thinker with the ability to align event initiatives with broader marketing objectives.
● Excellent verbal communication skills with a good command of the English language
● Advanced written communication skills and an ability to read and edit copy.
● Proficient in budget management and analysis.
● Familiarity with content marketing principles and integration strategies.
● Demonstrated ability to cultivate and manage partnerships.
● Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data to drive decisions.
● Basic technical knowledge of MS Office, Canva, Social Media networks.
● Eager to work in a start-up environment and passionate about the social impact space.
● Competent in vendor and partner communication and management.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
