Job Summary
- Effectively partner with the BOH management team to deliver on Excellence
- Comfortable presenting in front of all stakeholders (internal/external) with the ability to impact and motivate
- Leader of the Events teams partnering with VP of Culinary to create dishes, and support training and execution onsite
- Unwavering commitment to Excellence and raising the bar
- Provide support, leadership, and guidance to the production team
- Communicate consistently with the culinary team and partners to push the vision forward
- Strong skills in creating innovative dishes through R&D, events, consulting
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Ability to take feedback, adapt and apply quickly
- Collaborate with Culinary leadership to develop systems and processes
- Ensure the events, culinary, and BOH team is meeting all safety, compliance, and regulation requirements
- partner with all areas of operations to develop collaboration
- Strong Computer Skills ( Microsoft Office, IMS, CaterXpert preferred)
- 15+ years of experience in off-site catering, large-scale special events, small intimate gatherings
- Proven experience in hotel, fine dining restaurant, corporate dining which will support consulting division
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent working knowledge of many styles of cuisine and types of events
- CPR/1st Aid Certified (preferred)
- NYC Food Handler’s Certificate
