About Our Agency:
South Carolina ETV (SCETV) is the state's public educational broadcasting network. SCETV amplifies South Carolina voices, provides educational experiences and strengthens communities, while working to create a stronger, more connected and informed South Carolina. SCETV provides national and local content to classrooms via internet services Knowitall.org and PBS Learning Media. SCETV also provides teacher training and re-certification in face-to-face and online settings.
Job Duties
Develops and implements a strategic vision for Education Productions aligned with organizational and division goals and objectives. Oversees the end-to-end production process. Ensure that all educational content meets the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and relevance. Manages the production budget, resources, and timelines to ensure efficient and timely delivery of Educational materials. Prepares and supports the preparation of required documents for the agency greenlight process. Assists Chief Learning Officer with annual reporting. Collaborates with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and educators to produce multimedia resources that align with curriculum standards, learning objectives, and pedagogical best practices.
Oversees operations of the in-house education innovation space to include, scheduling, activities, and maintenance of equipment. Stays informed about industry regulations and compliance standards related to educational and public media content production. Conducts regular evaluations and assessments of Educational productions to measure effectiveness and make necessary improvements. Conducts market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the field of Education production. Leads a team of content creators, multimedia specialists, and lab staff to develop innovative and effective educational content and learning experiences. Establishes and maintains relationships with higher education mass media and communications partners for collaboration and recruitment. Other duties as assigned
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in education, instructional design, media production, or related field. At least four years of experience in media production or media instruction. Proven experience in developing and producing educational content. Familiarity with educational standards and regulations. Proficiency using relevant software and production tools
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
knowledge of audio and visual production and education. Proficient knowledge of public media landscape and youth cultures.

Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in education, instructional design, media production, or related field. At least four years of experience in media production or media instruction. Proven experience in developing and producing educational content. Familiarity with educational standards and regulations. Demonstrated expertise in project management. Proficiency in using relevant software and production tools. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
