Salem Surround, a division of Salem Media Group, has a very rare and exceptional growth opportunity for a proven Director of Digital Sales for the West Coast Region. The individual will be responsible for revenue growth and sales enablement for the Western region. Salem Surround is a leader in the broadcast and digital advertising marketplace operating nationwide with brick-and-mortar local clients and media agencies in the top markets across the country.

Responsibilities
- Reports directly to the VP of Digital Sales
- Grow digital ad revenue within the region on both owned and operated digital assets as well as through digital marketing services
- Consistently exceed sales quotas
- Establish yourself as a thought leader in both digital and sales management and provide on-going guidance through trainings both with a team of Digital Sales managers and campaign specialists and throughout the Western Regions markets
- Manage the process of budgeting, forecasting, and pacing with corporate goals
- Coach, manage and lead a team of Digital Sales Managers and Digital Campaign Specialists assigned to the 16 Western region markets.
- Monthly reporting to the Western Region Regional Vice Presidents
- Provide guidance and leadership, on-going training, and revenue reporting
- Help build strategic account relationships
- Partner with internal teams that include senior leadership, ad operations, human resources, legal and finance teams
- BS/BA degree. MBA is preferable
- Previous Digital Sales leadership required
- A positive track record of leading teams and growing sales revenue
- 5+ years of Digital Sales management experience
- Proven track record of business development, exceeding quotas, employee growth and client retention
- Experience in selling both programmatic and owned and operated digital assets
- A thorough understanding of the digital landscape and changing ecosystem that makes up the digital universe
- A background in working with Ad Operations teams, and a variety of DSP’s
- Experience in using data to further the sales process
- Ability to travel as needed.
- The position may be remote but will need to be in one of the West Region markets.
