Director Of Development

Seeking a full-time professional fundraiser to be employed as a Director of Development. The ideal candidate will have the experience and expertise to lead all fundraising efforts including but not limited to major gifts, grants, corporate partnerships, and annual online giving campaigns. The Director of Development is responsible for creating and implementing a year-round fundraising program with revenue goals set by the Leadership Team. This person in this role is also charged with working with the Fundraising team to prospect, solicit, and cultivate donors at all giving levels as well as leading and providing administrative leadership and/or support for all development campaigns and events.

The Director of Development is a vital member of the Chiropractic Future Strategic Plan and will report to the Leadership Team and Project Manager. Chiropractic Future’s core values are transparency, collaboration, and inclusion. This is a full-time remote employment opportunity.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop strategies and an action plan to reach annual fundraising goal through individual and corporate donations, annual campaigns, and special events.
• Develop revenue growth strategy with a focus on high-net-worth donors and major gifts in alignment with our organizational fundraising goals, values, and vision.
• Develop and manage new and existing pipelines of individual, corporate, foundation, and major gift donors to solicit, as appropriate.
• Develop trusted relationships with donors, serving as the primary point of contact and day-to-day relationship manager.
• Identify and create portfolio of partnership opportunities to present to current and potential sponsors.
• Execute partnership deliverables, ensuring the maximum experience and impact are delivered to partners and implemented in an efficient and timely manner.
• Lead coordinator of marketing efforts in partnership with team leaders.
• Oversee and execute individual donor engagement strategies and tactics, including events, from pipeline development to cultivation, stewardship, and renewal.
• Direct contact for the Fundraising team, ensuring members are assigned and achieving assigned tasks.
• Develop and submit yearly revenue/expense budgets and progress reporting.

Director of Development Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years fundraising experience.
• Experience and expertise closing on $1M in revenue, through corporate sponsorship, annual fundraising campaigns, and major gifts.
• Ability to close virtual and face-to-face sales and sponsorships.
• Ability to think strategically and critically with proven ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities at one time.
• Demonstrated professional and mature communications and interactions with staff, volunteers, sponsors, donors, and others to engage them toward the achievement of revenue goals.
• Excellent written and oral communication and follow-up skills.
• Effective presentation and engagement skills to cultivate a wide range of donors including.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Occasional travel required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
