Approach to Compensation | Fairness Over Negotiation
We get it; the topic of salary often turns into a negotiation game. But here at Chiefs for Change, we're taking a different approach—one that's rooted in fairness and internal equity.
So here's the deal: The salary range for this role is between $94,177 and $150,684, with a midpoint of $122,430. We're updating our approach and setting the starting offers at 95% of the midpoint. For this role, that would be $116,308.50. And you know what? We keep it that way for everyone. No haggling, no back-and-forth. Why? Because your worth to us isn't about your ability to negotiate; it's about your ability to contribute to our mission and make a lasting impact.
But wait, there's more. You know how sometimes people feel the need to jump from role to role just to get a bump in pay? We've got you covered. Our salary bands are intentionally wide, giving you ample room to grow financially without having to change your job title. It's our way of saying, "Hey, we value your growth right where you are, and we want to reward you for it."
We recognize that negotiation often favors certain demographic groups, and we're committed to leveling the playing field. We want every candidate, from every background, to know they're being valued fairly for their skills and potential.
Let's Change the World Together
If you're ready to be a part of something bigger than yourself, push the boundaries of what's possible in education, and leave a legacy of transformative change, we want to hear from you.
We're a close-knit team on a mission, and while we'd love to connect with every passionate applicant, we can only reach out to those who will be advancing to the interview stage. Rest assured, we're committed to fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity in all its forms—be it religion, gender, sexual orientation, or cultural background. Your uniqueness is a strength we value.
