Your impact (grow it!):

Optiwatt works with North America’s top leading electric utilities to drive consumer education, electrification, and load management within our Optiwatt application. Our goals are to reduce the utilities overall cost of energy and customer service while increasing customer satisfaction and program participation. As the Director of Client Success at Optiwatt, you will be responsible for the overall health of Client relationships, delivering against our contracts, and navigating the broader organization to ensure high level initiatives are met. Optiwatt is a young ambitious company looking to drive real innovation in the space, as such you will be coming in on the ground floor to set up many of our systems and processes.

Your primary directives at Optiwatt will be as follows:

  1. Setup robust systems for invoicing, contracting, data processing, and delivery across all clients
  2. Interface with clients to understand their goals, objectives, budget cycle, future product positioning, and executive initiatives
  3. Deep technical understanding of demand response markets and players, OR a desire to learn the space quickly
  4. Ability to individually contribute to system design and client engagement and cost effectively scale teams as necessary
  5. Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization: Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Consumer Product, Client Product, Finance, Legal, People, etc.
  6. Accountable for customer satisfaction and churn metrics across all clients
Requirements:You are someone who is….
  1. Excited to work on any of the following; electric vehicles, smart thermostats, the electric grid, technology, climate change reduction
  2. Experienced leader in enterprise Client Success
  3. Excellent in demonstrating technical, negotiation, and communication skills under difficult circumstances
  4. Has the ability to develop deep relationships at the executive level
  5. Experience leading Client Success for a Saas product

The salary range for this job is $160,000 to $220,000, plus equity compensation dependent on experience.
