This role will be remotely based in the Western region of the United States. Routine travel of 50% or more will be expected for this position. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.
Dining Alliance is looking for a Director of Business Development based in the Western region to network, build relationships with Distributor Partners and help them to introduce BEP to their customers.
Responsibilities:
- Be knowledgeable of the BEP Brands and an expert on BEP technology
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders of Distributor Partners
- Present at various events: General Sales Meetings, Food Shows, District Manager Meetings, etc.
- Identify prospective restaurant operators, handle lead generation and conversion.
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss BEP offerings.
- Work hand in hand with sales teams at all levels and negotiate/prepare terms and sales agreements.
Qualifications:
- Experience in, and a deep understanding of, the foodservice industry.
- Be proficient in:
- Salesforce
- Microsoft Business Tools – i.e., Excel, Word, Powerpoint
- Experience negotiating terms and preparing sales agreements.
- A valid, unrestricted driver's license with the ability to rent a car is required
