As the Director of Admissions & Utilization Review at Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services, you will work with other dedicated professionals internally and externally who share your passion for helping others, and ensuing a fluid collaborative Admissions and Utilization Review process for the children's psychiatric residential treatment program located in West Chester, PA.
Every day the Director of Admissions & Utilization Review you will...
Supervise the daily operations of the Admissions & Utilization departments
Act as liaison between Devereux, funders, and referral sources to addresses areas of concern and ensure efficient access to services
Serves as a subject matter expert related to residential admission requirements, services provided, and compliance requirements
Communicate clearly with internal and external contacts ensuring compliance with organizational, regulatory and funder policies and procedures
You will be offered:
Compensation: $77,000 - $87,780 /yr.

Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), residential treatment (RTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.

Qualifications
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree or licensed nurse. Master’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years previous experience in a behavioral healthcare setting. Two years of previous supervisory experience. Previous experience in Utilization Review and/or admissions. Proficient computer skills, mastery of Microsoft Office Applications, experience with data collection/analyzing platforms (Radar, Pro-Filer, and/or other internal and external software applications pertinent to the position). Strong organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Requires ability to work independently, prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adhere to established guidelines.
Valid driver's license must be maintained
