The NA Commercial Marketing Director, reporting to the North America CMO, leads the Commercial Marketing team to achieve long-term growth by developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, defining objectives, and overseeing plan execution for segment growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader experienced in managing high-performance teams, excelling in an entrepreneurial environment, and understanding technology partner engagements.
Objectives:
- Empower the NA Commercial Marketing team to deliver impactful, consistent, and measurable programs.
- Develop and promote a North American perspective to enhance Lenovo brand awareness and preference.
- Foster collaboration for cross-segment, market routes, and internal/external partnerships to prioritize customer needs.
- Lead a team generating high-quality leads and pipeline for revenue growth.
- Cultivate a top-tier team by attracting, retaining, and developing talent.
Responsibilities:
- Define go-to-market strategy for Large Enterprise, Public Sector, and SMB segments.
- Manage a team overseeing Marketing Strategy and execution for the NA portfolio.
- Collaborate with Executive Leadership, ensuring alignment of NA programs with respective objectives.
- Align with NA eCommerce and Channel Marketing for a customer-centric strategy.
- Represent NA priorities in global marketing discussions, creating integrated campaign strategies.
- Own and manage the quarterly budget, exploring joint funding opportunities with alliance partners.
- Establish segment messaging priorities and coordinate with PR/Comms for effective execution.
- Define marketing KPIs, set targets, and communicate results to stakeholders.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10+ years of marketing experience in a competitive environment
- 5+ years of marketing leadership experience
Preferred Requirements:
- Technology background, including experience in Infrastructure, Intelligent Devices, and Software and Services
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Superior engagement skills with a focus on new business development
- Excellent business and financial acumen
- MBA preferred
- Travel: up to 20%
