This position is based at our headquarters in Phoenix, AZ. The role will be requred to be onsite 4-days per week, with the option of working remote 1-day per week.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Learning is responsible for organization-wide prioritization of needs and resources to meet critical learning needs for all populations. This position will work closely with senior leadership to cultivate a culture of continuous learning and growth. This position will build high-impact learning experiences focused on enabling ongoing growth and development for every employee. The successful leader serves as a strategic partner in a highly visible and influential role, first seeking to understand business needs and then quickly building highly productive and impactful learning solutions.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide oversight for company-wide learning offerings (including learning delivered outside of the learning team) to ensure a common framework and consistency in approach across the organization
Responsible for the company-wide learning menu, a clear set of learning opportunities available at every level throughout the organization, including general skills and functional/technical skills
Ensure ongoing review of company-wide learning menu, including identification of gaps and development of new offerings
Partner directly with executives to understand large-scale learning priorities, leverage learning team to resource and deliver accordingly
Ensure ongoing communication with executives regarding progress, completion, and outcomes of large-scale learning priorities
Drive communication plan to the organization to bring awareness to all learning offerings. Ensure all leaders are aware of offerings to support employees.
Responsible for tracking and proactively reporting on learning priorities, KPIs and relevant learning data that demonstrates consistent alignment with support for organizational priorities
Provide oversight for the LMS (Learning Management System); partner with HR Operations on system updates, revisions, etc.
Overall responsibility for completion and tracking of all learning activities in Workday (courses delivered by any group throughout the organization)
Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, promoting opportunities for career growth within the organization
Partner with I/D to ensure inclusivity of all learnings in content, approach and delivery
Maintain knowledge of industry trends, concepts, and techniques for delivering high quality learning to diverse audiences
Manage learning budget and resources efficiently
Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities with demonstrated ability to solve complex and ambiguous business problems leveraging data analysis and modeling
Strong communication and relationship-building skills at all levels, with the ability to create, interpret and summarize data to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing projects and priorities simultaneously
Experience leading cross-disciplinary, cross-functional projects to drive business process change affecting multiple business units
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong understanding of adult learning theories, delivery models, and best practices in learning
Knowledge and experience in strategic succession planning
Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire audiences
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
10 years progressive experience in learning and development, organizational development, or talent management.
Proven ability to create and implement impactful development solutions in a complex organization.
Experience with leading functions through significant enterprise transformation efforts.
