- Manage day-to-day HR operations including compensation & benefits, performance management, HR systems, onboarding, staffing/workforce planning, training, compliance, and internal mobility;
- Ability to coach and mentor direct reports, peers, and executive leaders on sound People practices acting as trusted advisor regarding all employee relations issues while maintaining confidentiality and observing ethical and professional standards;
- With Senior Director, participate in the development of global programs and initiatives, ensuring that global HR practices and policies comply with state/ federal and local regulations, balancing the needs of the business objectives with employees' needs.
- Escalation path for more complex issues that arise in the department with experience in conflict resolution and organization management within a sophisticated matrixed environment;
- Other tasks as assigned by the Senior Director of Global Human Resources.
- B.A or equivalent required plus progressive HR/People experience in a semiconductor environment;
- At least 15+ years managing multi-functional HR areas such as employee relations, compensation, and benefits, performance management, staffing, HR operations, etc. with a roll-up-your sleeves philosophy, getting it done quickly, accurately, and efficiently;
- High executive presence with the ability to partner and influence within all levels of the organization by clearly expressing goals and initiatives that garner buy-in and enthusiasm in a fast-paced, dynamic environment thinking strategically and leveraging data for taking action and more effective decision making;
- Familiarity with EU and Asia/Pac employment and staffing issues;
- Solid knowledge of US labor laws and regulations;
- Ability to understand the needs of a variety of constituents and deliver information and insights quickly with appropriate details and correct pitch/tone for the audience;
- Mandarin language capability preferred.
Annual base salary for this role in California, US is expected to be between $170,000 - $210,000. Actual pay will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant skills and experience, and the pay of employees in the similar role.
