ABOUT US:

Special Needs Network, Inc. (SNN) is a nonprofit grassroots organization responding to the crisis of autism and other developmental disabilities in underserved communities. Our long list of programs and campaigns address issues from both a top-down approach -- by changing government legislation; and bottom-up -- by collaborating directly with parents, caretakers, and healthcare professionals who work with children with developmental disabilities.

The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing candidates, developing relationships, assessing, and effectively managing candidates through the full recruiting process. This position collaborates with Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Business Services, and Vice President of Clinical Services.

Job Requirements

  • High volume recruitment of clinicians for working in for in-home and clinic based therapy services. Recruiter will engage applicants for different roles: Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Behavior Analysts, Clinical Psychologists, and Behavior Therapists.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills;
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience recruiting behavioral health or psychology positions in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess strong knowledge of online hiring practices, behavioral-based interviewing and assessment techniques, tracking processes for applicants and open positions and TA performance metrics
  • Strong knowledge of Talent Acquisition as a function, including best practices and the trends that are affecting it.
  • High level skills with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Slack, Teams, Sharepoint.
  • Manages data quality of the Applicant Tracking System including updating candidate statuses, job statuses and requisition reporting.
  • Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria using the ATS, networking, internet recruiting resources, social media, university recruiting, personal sourcing and recruiting, and employee referrals
  • Develop and run a coherent and sustainable college recruiting strategy. Attend job fairs and college/university recruiting events.
  • Connect with, pre-screen and interview candidates to obtain information on work history, training, education, job skills, culture fit, and soft skills.
  • Work closely with HR, Payroll, and Operations to coordinate pre-start activities and onboarding.
  • Manage hiring cycle from recruitment to first day of training.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of prior recruiting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required
  • Extensive experience in using candidate sourcing tools for recruiting
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize a diversified workload, meeting established deadlines with minimal supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
