Your opportunity
We are looking for a Director, HR Business Partner to support our Engineering, Product and Design organizations. The right candidate is passionate about business and eager to make an impact by helping leaders achieve their business objectives through an effective talent strategy.

This Director, HRBP will have broad experience in HR and a passion for supporting teams to achieve exceptional business results. We want a dynamic, hands-on senior HR professional who will partner closely with executives, their peers, and internal partners to drive effective HR programs in their respective client groups. We need someone with a bias for action who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do
  • Work closely with HRBPs and COEs to provide a unified ‘one New Relic’ experience across client teams
  • Work as the key strategic partner to assigned executive(s) as the voice of their organization
  • Be a strong strategic thought partner with the leaders of your client groups to create and implement strategic plans and objectives that are aligned with New Relic’s organizational priorities.
  • Advise leaders and teams to improve team performance and organizational effectiveness
  • Manage our overall Talent Management programs, including career and leadership development, succession planning, talent assessment and reviews, and performance management
  • Uses a data driven approach to understand and improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Anticipate the need for change, and act to improve organizational performance
  • Support organizational change initiatives
This role requires
  • 8+ years as an HRBP with demonstrated experience working directly with senior leadership in a technical organization
  • Experience leading a team of global HRBPs
  • Experience working in a fast-paced culture in a global organization
  • Proven track record of high performance and strong execution
  • Collaborative, driven, proactive, and self-reliant.
  • Demonstrated agility in a constantly evolving environment
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships globally
  • Experience navigating conflicting priorities and partners
  • Strong business insight, including problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Understands strategic organizational issues and has the ability to affect the people agenda
  • Capable and confident communicator with strong personal presence
  • Conscientious and thoughtful people leader
  • Exceptional advising and coaching skills

Estimated Base Pay Range: $ 174,000 - $ 218,000
The pay range above represents a reasonable estimate of the salary for the listed position. This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicant’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
