JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an ambitious Global Sales Manager to run worldwide B2B sales efforts of our Industrial X-ray OEM Solutions Team. Varex Imaging is a worldwide leader in x-ray imaging components - this role will have direct ownership of the sales for Varex x-ray tubes and flat panel detectors. The task is to spearhead our sales initiatives as well as judiciously manage the running business. This is a key leadership role within Varex, with responsibility over a global team of sales managers, individual contributors and the sales budget for our market leading product lines. We prefer this role to be located in Salt Lake City, but will consider other locations as well.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet and exceed annual sales targets to grow the business unit.
- Business development input to drive new customer growth through adoption of new product offerings.
- Lead, support and develop a team of sales professionals.
- Set goals for the team, drive to and achieve outstanding results with them.
- Foster strong relationships with high level customer contacts.
- Gather and record data about industry trends and competitor activities.
- Specify and accompany development of Sales Digitalization tools to improve data cultivation.
- Develop and execute global sales strategies to meet and surpass revenue goals.
- Own the global forecast, continually monitoring sales manager inputs as well as managing reporting to senior management as well as coordinating with the production teams.
- Collaborate with up and downstream marketing and business development to align sales efforts with product offerings.
- Work tightly with Industrial General Manager, regularly generate and present detailed business reports to Varex executive team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Master's Degree or MBA preferred
- 15 years of related experience
- 7 year of management experience
Additional Qualifications
- Proven success in Industrial B2B component sales
- Experience with and affinity for SalesForce or equivalent CRM tool
- Track record of effectively managing sales teams and consistently achieving revenue targets
- Ability to effortlessly communicate and build trust in all regions of the world
