Job Overview:
Director of Security oversees our comprehensive security program. The Director of Security is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property. This role requires a leader with a strong background in security management, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to creating a secure and welcoming environment for all.
Job Specifications

• Onsite - Black Desert Resort
• Shift & Schedule Availability: Year Round / Full Time
• The budgeted range starts at $80,000 - $90,000 + annual bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Job Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures for the resort.
• Oversee the daily operations of the security team, including scheduling, training, and supervision of Security personnel.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage and oversee the installation and maintenance of Security systems and equipment, including surveillance cameras and access control systems.
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies, providing leadership and guidance to ensure a prompt and effective resolution.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures.
• Conduct investigations into security breaches and prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to guest and property safety.
• Stay informed of current security trends, risks, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Managment, Security Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of Security experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of Security protocols, surveillance technology, and emergency response procedures.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other departments and external agencies.
• Certification in security management or related field is a plus.

Compensation Range
The compensation for this position is $80,000.00/Yr. - $90,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
