Your Role:
As the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Intelligence and Operations, you will play a critical role in driving the financial strategy and decision-making processes within the organization. This leadership position requires a seasoned financial professional with a deep understanding of financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning. The Director of FP&A will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build the right analytical tools let to report, analyze, and distribute strategic insights across the organization. This role will be focused on partnerships with accountings, data science and IT to RFP, develop, integrate, and implement a full suite of FP&A tools including an analytical processing engine and PowerBI. Over time, as we implement these tool, this role will create the necessary templates and models to feed the budget & forecasting system to support the wider FP&A team.
What will you be doing?
- Strategic Financial Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial planning strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to provide financial insights and support in strategic decision-making processes.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable financial targets.
- Establish and maintain robust forecasting models to provide timely and accurate financial projections.
- Financial Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify key performance indicators, trends, and areas of improvement.
- Provide variance analysis against budget and forecasts, highlighting key drivers and potential risks and opportunities.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports for executive leadership, board members, and stakeholders.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with various departments such as sales, marketing, operations, and HR to understand their financial needs and provide strategic guidance.
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop key performance metrics and track progress against financial goals.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, proposing actionable strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact financial performance.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and develop a high-performing FP&A team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and improve financial planning and analysis processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement best practices in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting.

What we look for:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, with a focus on FP&A.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities and excel skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis tools.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
- Leadership and team management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience with FP&A systems implementation.
- Experience planning and building PowerBI financial dashboards.
- Experience in real estate/REITs
