Job Summary
Director of Food and Beverage is a strategic business leader who is responsible for managing the daily operations of the University Texas Stadium Club. They will maintain a high standard of excellence while promoting a People First Culture.
Day-to-Day
- Develops aggressive food beverage sales, marketing, and net revenue plans.
- Manages the food & beverage department while forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective action plans.
- Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures, while complying with legal regulations.
- Ensure quality of all F&B product and experiences year round
- Works with the Member committees to develop and implement Member activities and events.
- Trains and monitors employees while evaluating their performance and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with corporate programs and mandates
- Recruits, selects and develops talent while maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Manages large temporary seasonal staff prior to and throughout athletics season, serving multiple premium stadium spaces and suites in a prominent, high-capacity sports arena.
- Streamline communications between departments regarding F&B Programming
About You
- Stadium/Arena Premium F&B Operations experience is a must.
- Strong skillset with F&B Ops Cost Controls and Inventory Management
- Experience managing large premium spaces and suites.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or business admin (preferred)
- Tenacious work ethic / flexible / stamina
- Strong written and oral Communication Skills
- Exceptional leadership skills - Self-motivated, strategic thinker, positive attitude , team focused attitude, effective team building skills
- Adaptable to change – can solve problems through an open-minded and all-inclusive approach .
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced or high-pressure environment
- Effective relationship-building with strategic partnerships to drive revenue and enhance Member/guest experiences.
- Proven ability to provide concise direction on game days/event days to ensure all F&B product and service experiences are up to standard.
- Proficient with POS, Microsoft Office products, and social media
Compensation: Salary $85k commensurate with experience – Bonus Potential, Benefits, Club Perks, and much more!
