The Director- Financial SolutionsTrade Credit is responsible for the design of risk management programs for client, requests updated renewal information including loss runs, prepares submissions/coverage specifications, presents submissions/coverage specifications to carriers, and negotiates to secure coverage that meets client needs.

The Role
- Procures carrier quotes that meet client needs, prepares and often presents client proposals.
- Binds carrier quotes and obtains binders and coverage confirmations. Maintains strong relationships with key carriers. May identify, solicit, and develop new pieces of business with existing clients.
- Responsible for collections, record keeping, and quality of service provided to clients so that the assigned book of business is profitable.
- Contacts existing clients to ensure quality service is being delivered
- Identifies and monitors insurance and risk management needs of prospective or current clients
- Conducts needs assessment with current and potential customers
- Identifies and presents appropriate services to client
- Participates in targeted public relations activities
- Maintains extensive market relationships
- Develops account strategies, presentations, and other forms of communication with client
- Prepares and delivers underwriting submissions
- Maintains account documentation and correspondence
- Negotiates responsive programs and service agreement rates
- Provides customer service, including resolving customer inquiries and problems
- Establishes procedures for claims administration and loss prevention activity Technical placement, underwriting or sales experience
- Provides coverage and program design advice and expertise to the Client
- Provides knowledge about markets and products as they relate to classes of business
- Conducts client meetings as requested with respect to renewal marketing
- Obtains updated renewal information from Client
- Prepares submission/coverage specifications and submits proposals to carriers for quotes
- Receives quotes from carriers and negotiates for the best program for clients, provides coverage comparison
- Prepares quote proposals to present to client
- Communicates with the client regarding program improvements and recommendations
- Preparation and finalization of Carrier and Client quotes & coverage confirmations to ensure contract certainty
- Assists as technical resource for newer placement brokers
The Requirements
- 10-15 years proven insurance industry experience related to servicing accounts large accounts
- Property and Casualty license
- Knowledge of Insurance and/or Brokerage business
- Strong technical knowledge of product area or industry
- Ability to provide consultation and expert advice to management on risk management issues
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Experience with large deductible programs

Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $165,000 USD to $175,000 USD per year.
This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
