In this role you will join the Facility Maintenance Team and report to Facility Maintenance Manager.
You will accomplish day to day tactical objectives in support of the company and the department goals. Demonstrates adherence to company policies and procedures in support of safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale (SQDCM) initiatives. Embraces and promotes company core values to establish and maintain a culture committed to ethical practices, legal compliance and a union-free environment. Takes initiative to participate in training and developing opportunities to prepare for current and future challenges.

- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in facility management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Understand engineer drawing/Auto CAD
- Strong understanding of budget management and investment planning processes.
- Knowledge of machinery maintenance best practices and regulations.
- Familiarity with waste management and recycling principles.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Facility Manager, General Contractor) would be advantageous.
- Facility Control and Management:
- Assist in developing and implementing facility management policies and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain facility budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facilities, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
- Company Investment Plan Setup and Approval Process:
- Collaborate with management to develop investment plans for facility improvements and upgrades.
- Assist in the approval process for facility-related investments, ensuring alignment with company goals and budgetary constraints.
- Facility Machinery Maintenance Plan and Control:
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance plan for all facility machinery and equipment.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and servicing of machinery.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements as necessary.
- Waste/Recycle Process Management:
- Manage the company's waste and recycling processes, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
- Implement strategies to minimize waste and increase recycling efforts.
- Coordinate with external vendors for waste disposal and recycling services.
- Daily Facility Task Control and Management:
- Supervise facility staff to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Address any maintenance or operational issues as they arise.
- Maintain records of daily activities and inspections.
- Semi-Annual Plant Shutdown Period Maintenance Plan:
- Develop and implement maintenance plans for semi-annual plant shutdown periods.
- Coordinate with various departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize downtime.
- Ensure all necessary resources and personnel are available for shutdown maintenance projects.
- Other Facility-Related Work Assigned by Management:
- Undertake any additional facility-related tasks or projects assigned by senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support GA Dept & company-wide initiatives as needed.
