The Director, Distribution provides comprehensive leadership and strategic planning to our 1.2m square foot Starbucks Distribution Center in York, PA in support of Starbucks’ mission, culture and values. This critical role contributes to our success by providing proven industry expertise, coaching/development skills and management of strategic relationships to enable the distribution team to develop innovative, cost-effective, scaleable distribution systems and processes that enable growth and generate store/customer level value.
As a Director, Distribution, you will…
- Provide functional supply chain and logistics expertise to achieve targeted business requirements.
- Exhibit strategic leadership, business acumen and a continuous improvement mindset in support of long term business value.
- Develop targeted operational plans for the work group, manage execution and measure results.
- Lead partner development and engagement activities including providing coaching, feedback and developmental opportunities to achieve safety, partner satisfaction, business and customer results.
We’d love to hear from people with:
- Previous leadership-level experience leading large scale distribution & logistic operations.
- Progressive experience leading teams in large-scale capital projects, performamce metrics and process improvement.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, fosters environment of growth, development and collaboration with cross functional teams
