Overview
The Director Digital Platforms and Support is the strategic lead to evolve, optimize, and create digital marketing platforms including global websites, portals and applications for the Global AB business. This includes performance metrics relating to these channels. Within downstream marketing this position will contribute to demand generation, optimization of the digital customer (both professional and consumer) experience, general development of channel performance, and brand representation across all digital channels.
What you'll do:
  • Optimize global customer (professional, candidate, recipient, mentor) experience across Digital Platforms and channels.
  • Measure, track and drive performance across Digital Platforms, specifically considering return on investment, demand generation, and efficiency opportunities.
  • Partner with upstream marketing to define long-term digital roadmap.
  • Lead team to evolve and optimize global website, portals and applications.
  • Drive long-term plan for customer support of digital tool usage.
  • Recommend improvements to existing sites and channels for increased effectiveness for various stakeholders.
  • Drive maintenance and obsolescence planning for existing digital sites, channels, applications.
  • Manage a team of digital marketers and align their activities with ongoing business needs.
  • Work with staff throughout the global organization to meet business requirements.
  • Evaluate, track, and report usage of the organization's websites and marketing efforts.
  • Help determine scope, specs, and estimates of web, app, portal and digital marketing campaign projects.
  • Engage web developers, web designers, and analytics vendors.
  • Manage team workload and service request flow.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends in the digital marketing space and be able to translate it to AB's Digital Roadmap
  • Work on cross functional teams including IT, R&D, Project Management, Product Management, Global Sales, Regulatory, Quality, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Work across group companies with Phonak, Sonova Audiological Care and Sonova.
  • Project management skills
  • Experience with website analytics
  • Experience developing and managing digital marketing.
  • Experience with Google AdWords and Microsoft Bing platforms.
  • Experience leading web teams.
  • Should be conversant in concepts of user personas, SEO/SEM, inbound marketing, site analytics, UX, and website flow.
  • Experience with digital accessibility.
  • Experience with global data privacy management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Travelling Requirement: Up to 20%
What you bring to the team:
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree (and/or 10+ years of equivalent work experience) in Marketing, IT or other relevant field.

Nice to Have
  • Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree

Further Education
Nice to Have
  • Additional education or certifications in marketing and/or digital.

Work Experience
  • Minimum 8 years experience in marketing or digital solutions areas, running large-scale project and global operations. Experience in leading cross-functional, remote teams, proven abilities to influence stakeholders across the organization.

Nice to Have
  • Web and platform management.

Personal Competencies
  • Strategic thinking, strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to drive efficiencies and create process.

Nice to Have
  • Experience in vendor and service provider negotiation.

Social Competencies
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to adapt communication to audience, ability to work under pressure and meet project timelines across departments.

Leadership Competencies
  • Previous management experience. Strong stakeholder management. Set expectations and provide feedback to your team. Ability to manage and direct the work a team of five+ employees

Professional Competencies
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing, IT and digital analytics. Must be able to work with all levels of management and peers.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism among peers and communicate effectively will all levels of the organization.

Nice to Have
  • Strong business acumen, including knowledge of business to business and direct to consumer med tech industries. Data privacy management.
  • Experience with real-world omnichannel customer experience implementations.

  • English/ Fluent

IT Skills
  • Excellent knowledge of computer programs including MS office, SharePoint, SAP, Agile/PLM, Adobe Suite.

  • Experience with CMS systems such as Adobe Experience Manager

Pay Ranges:$151,200/yr -$226,800/yr
