MasterBrand is seeking an accomplished Director of Digital Experience Architecture & Technology Operations to lead the development and implementation of an advanced marketing technology (martech) strategy and delivery model.

Reporting to the VP of Customer & Consumer Experience, the ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in web, application, and data architecture, as well as proficiency in commercial systems, service management and data privacy & security standards.  Must bring a high degree of thought leadership, collaboration, and operational excellence to the CX team.

This role is accountable for establishing a robust, integrated digital ecosystem; enhancing data management and security practices; automating core processes and modernizing MasterBrand’s digital infrastructure and delivery model.  This strategic leader will play a pivotal role in defining the company’s future state architecture and aligning the technology roadmap to the overarching Customer & Consumer Experience (CX) strategy to achieve key business outcomes.  

The desired location for the selected candidate is Jasper, IN / Deerfield, IL / Cleveland, OH / or Philadelphia, PA.  Anticipated travel for the position is expected to be 30-50% as required for business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CX Technology Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute the Digital Experience technology strategy and architecture for MasterBrand, encompassing all points in the customer/consumer journey.
  • Solution Architecture: Direct and lead team in technical solution design, detailed technical specifications, and robust data integration initiatives to support internal and external user requirements.
  • Technology Implementation & Service Management: Oversee the timely delivery of software projects on various web/cloud platforms, manage teams and external partners, and ensure direct alignment with business objectives and goals.
  • Strategic Program Management: Define goals for technology components and frameworks, including reference architectures and implementations for MarTech solutions such as websites, content management, customer data platforms, visualizers, CRM, eCommerce and other order management integrations, etc.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Engage with business and technology leaders to understand strategy, identify optimal technical solutions, evaluate trade-offs, and influence key decisions.
  • Continuous Innovation: Stay at the forefront of digital marketing technology trends, including emerging technologies such as AI, ML, and predictive analytics, and apply them in the context of marketing, sales and service.
  • Data Security & Privacy: Ensure compliance with applicable data privacy laws and implement robust data security measures.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of 8 in-house solution architects and developers.

Accountabilities:

  • Translate business aspirations into technical design and action plans.
  • Lead and oversee the CX technology team, martech stack and Managed Services partner.
  • Drive the development and execution of the digital technology strategy, architecture, and roadmap.
  • Manage talent and budgets across strategic initiatives to uphold speed and quality of deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within IT and throughout the business to identify top initiatives and align necessary resources.
  • Project manage through a full lifecycle, prioritizing, sequencing, executing, and delivering projects on time and on budget.
  • Act as a thought leader in the digital marketing technology space, both internally and externally with key customers.

Technical Expertise & Skills:

  • Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, and .Net.
  • Familiarity with E-commerce platforms like Shopify and Salesforce Commerce Cloud, as well as Salesforce CRM Sales/Service and Experience Clouds.
  • Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM), Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
  • Familiarity with Boomi middleware solution.
  • Experience working with consumer marketing organizations and eCommerce partners such as Amazon and other online retailers.
  • Agile/Scrum and Salesforce certification(s)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage all levels of the organization.
Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in digital marketing technology, including CRM, Digital Experience, and E-Commerce platforms.
  • Proven success in applying data architecture principles, data modeling, governance, and integration strategies.
  • Expert knowledge of marketing technology platforms, including customer data platforms, marketing automation systems, and advanced analytics tools.
  • Experience with emerging technologies like AI, ML, and predictive analytics in marketing and sales.
  • Project management certification is desirable.
  • Outstanding leadership acumen for managing technical teams and external partners.
