The Director of Shared Business Services Data and Analytics will build a high-performing team focused on support of Analytics, Master Data, and Financial close processes that have a material impact on US Foods. This role is a critical business partner to a cross functional team of stakeholders including Shared Business Services Operations Teams, Sales, Merchandising, FinancBSe, and Marketing. This position is expected to contribute to the development and execution of the Shared Business Services Transformation Strategy and be an integral member of the Leadership Team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
People Leadership & Talent Development (35%)
Build a diverse, higher performing team who prides themselves on being strong business partners within the organization.
Develop a robust talent pipeline with adequate succession planning and investments in growth and development of team members.
Inspire a team of 10 direct reports and 35 indirect reports to help them achieve their maximum potential including optimizing existing ways of working, robust planning for the future, and demonstrating excellent communication skills. This includes leading the success of activities performed by a Managed Services Partner.
Build trust and confidence throughout organization by fostering partnerships displayed through strong data analysis, accurate financing reporting, and governance structure over data.
Ensure expectations of team members are clearly defined and associates are held accountable to deliver results while providing regular feedback to develop talent and embrace our core values.
Strategy Development and Execution (25%)
Collaborate with the SBS Transformation Leadership Team to create a vision and implement a comprehensive Data and Analytics Strategy that is supportive of the SBS roadmap and aligned with the Company ambition.
Lead Data Governance implementation for transactional data domains, ensure data quality policies & standards are being met.
Develop strong control structure and oversight over activities that have an impact on financial data.
Define and implement a talent strategy inclusive of hiring/recruiting, performance management and succession planning aimed at securing and retaining the best talent for all roles to support the future vision.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed analytics into decision making processes and drive continuous improvement.
Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technology, and benchmarking of data across SBS Functions, identifying those that are applicable and applying them to the organization.
Support Continuous Improvement and Operational Performance (35%)
Build, track, and share insight to stakeholders through robust metrics and Analytics, ensuring data consistently drives towards excellence and meets the needs of the functions and stakeholders.
Use strong understanding of financial data to position SBS Business to make appropriate decisions and ensure accurate period reporting.
Establish appropriate operational metrics across the organization with effective monitoring to bring visibility to opportunities and deliver a best-in-class approach.
Identify and execute opportunities for standardization across analytics reporting and SLA/KPI measurement.
Build robust data governance policies for establishment and maintenance ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance.
Lead the development and deployment of predictive and prescriptive analytics to optimize business operations, collaborating with stakeholders to identify Data and Analytics needs and align priorities.
Lead SBS and stakeholder adoption of Data and Analytics platforms and products, driving organization change by effectively communicating the value.
Ensure key financial reporting controls are designed effectively with strong oversight and understanding of period close process and financial impact of the team.
Develop a strong partnership with IT and I&A to ensure data availability and accuracy.
Effectively design team to scale with business changes and initiatives.
Looks to standardization, simplification, and optimization as a way of daily working.
Personal Development (5%)
Create, refine, and execute individual development plan to grow within role or prepare for other opportunities.
Engage in opportunities to learn and network both internally and externally to develop a well-rounded perspective and bring best in class practices to the role.
Pursue personal and learning development opportunities such as Employee Resource Groups (ERG), LMS courses, webinars, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training:
- Bachelor’s degree, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.
Related Experience:
Prior US Foods cross functional experience, highly preferred
Ten (10) years of related experience which could include data analytics and insights, master data management, financial reporting
Eight (8) years of management and leadership experience including evidence of developing a high performing team

The following information is provided in accordance with certain state and local laws. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. In Colorado, the expected compensation for this role is between $124,300 - $160,000 annually. In New York , the expected compensation for this role is between $116,400 - $160,000 annually. In California, the expected compensation for this role is between $116,400 - $160,000 annually. In Washington , the expected compensation for this role is between $131,500 - $160,000 annually.
