An American Company is seeking a Director of Employment, Data Privacy, and Litigation to join our legal team. This role will be instrumental in overseeing the company's employment practices, ensuring compliance with Data Privacy and artificial intelligence laws, and managing all aspects of commercial and employment litigation.
What you can expect:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to employment law, artificial intelligence, Data Privacy, and litigation.
- Provide legal advice and guidance on matters such as employment disputes, data protection, artificial intelligence, and privacy issues.
- Oversee the management of claims and litigation, including strategy, budgeting, and selection of external counsel.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations and to lead the Company's pay equity analysis globally.
- Stay abreast of legislative changes that may impact the company and advise on necessary actions.
- Manage and mentor a team of legal professionals.
What We're Looking For:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 15 years of legal experience, with a focus on employment law, Data Privacy, and litigation, including law firm and in-house experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
- Strong understanding of global Data Privacy laws, including GDPR, and emerging artificial intelligence legislation.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex litigation cases.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
