Role reports to: Senior Director, US Consumer Experience
Location: Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.
Travel %: up to 10
Pay: Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $137,000 to $235,750. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
What you will do
The Director of Consumer Experience & DXP will be an integral leader, overseeing a team of Product Owners that manage channels including websites, mobile app/PWAs, digital shelf, and CRM. They will lead these teams for 5 of Kenvue's most important brands in our US Market - Aveeno, Listerine, Tylenol, Zarbee's, and Zyrtec. In addition, this role serves as the Business Lead in the US for our newly developed Digital Experience Platform (DXP). In this role, collaboration will be critical for success, with a need to collaborate closely with Brand Growth and Squad brand partners, Tech and Platform teams, Consumer Brand Insights (CBI), and external partners. The Director of Consumer Experience & DXP will work with the team to design and deliver personalized, consumer-centric brand experiences that intercept the moments that matter to increase mental availability, drive category entry and generate data to fuel activation and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Consumer Experience team made up of digital product owners for priority Kenvue brands, establishing true product ownership with clear responsibilities and decision rights to build out digital product Visions, OKRs, and outcome-driven Roadmaps
- Drive how CX delivers value with best-in-class digital experiences & innovation demonstrating category leadership
- Develop, lead, and grow key digital talent in the organization
- Serves as the Consumer Experience point of contact on DXP plans, priorities, and roadmap; responsible for communicating progress and expectations to brand and CX stakeholders.
- Lead the strategy and approach for CRM across specified brands
- Ensure the team delivers on digital shelf content score targets and works with the team to deliver data driven test and learn digital shelf optimizations.
- Identify, assess, and communicate site opportunities to improve processes, modernize the digital experience, and create engaging consumer journeys.
- Lead cross-product roadmap and release planning for group-level initiatives, inform squad product backlogs, and solve for dependencies and resource conflicts
- Continually assess digital performance to figure out what is / isn't working using data, analytics, and insights to continuously optimize performance, delivering aligned success metrics
- Participate as a key member of Brand Growth leadership teams, gaining insights on brand and customer strategies to translate 3-year operating plan priorities into strategic digital roadmaps
- Test new strategies, iterate tactics, and refine the customer experience across brand websites/apps, digital shelf, and email marketing channels.
- Understand new consumer digital experience trends and educate internal key partners and business leaders on opportunities and best practices to grow our consumer satisfaction, loyalty, and engagement.
- Identifies interdependencies and opportunities to simplify and streamline activities to allow team members to be more effective.
- Collaborates with digital vendors to monitor/optimize digital delivery process and user experience, ensuring third-party contractors, freelancers and other internal and external partners are clear on priorities and expectations.
- People leader responsibilities to attract and develop diverse talents including technology product owners and software engineers and build strong inclusive culture with learning mindset
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
- A minimum of 8 years of successful and progressive commercial experience within the healthcare or CPG industry is required
- Previous experience as a people leader is required
- Demonstrated experience in critical marketing competencies and broader digital technology ecosystem is required
- Demonstrated start-up mindset
- Must be innovative, proactive, and strong analytically with excellent overall business acumen
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders to cultivate partnerships, craft the development of innovative solutions, and drive change
- Interpersonal flexibility to effectively interact with a broad range of personnel, advanced communication, presentation, and facilitation skills are required
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with managing budgets and external partners/vendors is preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in digital marketing, web development, mobile app development, eCommerce, CRM and/or related fields preferred
- Ability to set and communicate priorities across projects, hold stakeholders accountable, and lead multiple projects simultaneously with emphasis on quality and flawless execution
- Hands on experience with product management, software development, user experience design, data & analytics is preferred
- Experience with any of the following consumer health categories is a plus: pain, cough cold & flu, allergy, oral care, digestive health, wound care, skin health
