Direct Support Professional / Residential Counselor.
As a Direct Support Staff Counselor or Residential Counselor, you will be responsible for empowering and supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in the community.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)
Provides a full range of Attendant Care services including but not limited to the following:
- Accompanying the individual to community outings like going to Movie theatre, bowling, doctor's appointment, museum,
Education
- Must have a high school diploma or GED, and experience and/or training in related field.
- Certificate of training approved by the Developmental Disabilities Administration
- Experience in home health aide/direct care/residential care or similar setting.
- Must be able to pass with a clean criminal background check.
- Valid Driver’s License preferred.
