SalaryDirect Support Staff for Married Self-Directed Couple
Requirements: - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. - Ability to provide total care for one participant from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm daily. - Assisting the second participant between 7:00 am to 11:00 pm daily.
- Flexibility in scheduling. - Capable of working with both individuals at different times or simultaneously.
- Basic Qualifications: - Relevant experience in caregiving or working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of behavioral management techniques. - Ability to assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, feeding, and medication administration.
Understanding of individualized care plans and the ability to implement them effectively. - Strong communication skills to interact with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals. - Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach to caregiving.
Certification in CPR and First Aid may be required. - Willingness to undergo background checks and additional training as needed.
